ROSANA / CRITICAL SOURCING

Water treatment and sanitation equipment sourcing

A replacement membrane for a treatment plant and a new mobile system call for different purchasing processes. Rosana separates water infrastructure requests by existing equipment and technical specification to assess suitable sources, accessories and delivery options.

Products considered

Continuity of water infrastructure for facilities and communities.

The products below define the scope of enquiries we assess; they are not a current stock list. Their inclusion does not imply that every product is scarce in every region.

  • Reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration membranes
  • Cartridge and bag filters
  • Water treatment pumps and spare parts
  • Dosing pumps and control equipment
  • Portable water storage containers and tanks
  • Water pipes, valves and fittings
  • UV water disinfection units
  • Mobile water treatment and handwashing units

Before purchasing

Match membranes and filters

Alongside dimensions, review the model, housing compatibility and manufacturer-specified operating conditions. Current water analysis and design flow rate provide the basis for the buyer's technical team to assess suitability.

Distinguish component and system scope

Purchasing a pump or UV unit does not by itself provide a complete treatment plant. The request should identify which party is responsible for pretreatment, controls, consumables and performance acceptance.

Include in your enquiry

Buyer questions

Can a membrane from another brand be considered as an alternative?

A comparison can be made against the acceptance criteria set by your technical team. Similar dimensions are not enough; equivalence is not accepted until system compatibility and expected performance have been approved.

How should a request for a mobile system be prepared?

Specify the source water analysis, intended use, target capacity and existing infrastructure. The required process design and water quality acceptance must be defined separately as the responsibility of qualified specialists.

We make no firm stock, price or delivery commitments until availability, product authenticity, origin, quality documentation and delivery terms have been verified. Supply is subject to applicable trade rules, required authorisations and an assessment of end use.
